Renault TV joins the young drivers of Northamptonshire as they put their driving skills to the test at Silverstone. As young drivers they are statistically most as risk of being involved in a serious driving accident so the Northamptonshire Casualty Reduction Partnership has teamed up with Renault to run the award winning CarKraft Experience Day. Meet our young drivers James, James and Daisy and watch as they experience a driving assessment by an Advanced Skills Police Driver, attempt to keep control in the skid pan, compare the difference between cars with and without ABS breaking and participate in a classroom session to expel driving myths. We also meet PC David Lee – an advanced skills driver and Renault Sport enthusiast.
The Renault Clio and Megane RS are two of the hottest hatches money can buy, but as RS stands for Renault Sport, meaning these two cars are just the latest to benefit from over 35 years of unparalleled expertise in race car design and engineering, that’s hardly surprising! To put them to the test, we drove them through the bumpy, tight urban streets of Oxford where their comfort and low down power makes them ideal everyday cars, then we wound them up on the local B-roads, before unleashing them on a race track at Silverstone! Here we get a taste of the even spicier CUP versions of each car with their lighter, lower bodies and shove in the back power. These two uncut packages deliver grin inducing hits of adrenaline and driving pleasure. The real deal for any track day junky. This RS test drive film is a state of the art production, with razor sharp visuals and a Major Motion Picture soundtrack, So turn up the volume settle down for a hot Renault ride.

Eric starts the day preparing his mind and body and is soon driving a Formula Renault. Soon he's in the passenger seat of a new Renault Megane Trophy for a full throttle touring car race and then he gets his hands on a new Laguna Coupe, making the most of its ultra advanced 4 control – 4 wheel steering system on hot lap around the track. The first World Series by Renault meeting at Motorland Aragon was a huge popular success. 56 000 spectators flocked to the circuit near Alcaniz to see the Formula Renault 3.5 Series, Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup, Mégane Trohy and Clio Cup races. The fans were also able to enjoy the show put on by Fairuz Fauzy in the Renault R30, and the acrobatics of the Renault Sport Show professional drivers in Mégane R.Ss. The race simulators in the village met with great success like the Lotus Renault on display, the games for the kids and the many other activities available. After Motorland Aragon the Spa-Francorchamps round looks like being the blue-riband event of the 2011 season. Drivers and motor racing enthusiasts all love the magnificent Belgian circuit so the organizers are expecting a huge crowd to turn up in the Ardennes.
