The slopes of the French Alps are an irresistible Mecca for skiers in the winter months, but in the summer it's the small Alpine town of Megeve that plays host to a very special race. The Megeve Mont Blanc Cyclo Sportive is one of France's most popular speed cycling events, a gruelling high speed ride of twists, turns and tough competition. In the old days, mountain roads like these would prove a tough challenge for an MPV, but not anymore. The days of sacrificing driver pleasure for plenty of space are gone, because Renault has resisted the temptation to widen the front track dimensions of the Grand Scenic which means the handling is more like a sporty hatch than a traditional MPV. The new Grand Scenic is not only more practical than its predecessor with its generous cabin space and numerous storage compartments, cubby holes and different seating configurations, it looks both modern and stylish – setting it apart from the competition.
